Mentors In Motion, The 1 Step System and Liberty League

I stumbled upon a lead capture page or something similar while looking at some things for ( LLI ) Liberty league International. What caught my eye was something about why you DIDN'T join LLI ... which was a lead-in for MIM. In any case, I am wondering what your take is on the each: 1 Step & MIM. In relationship to my needs and wants for LLI.

I am still very interested in creating an income with LLI because of the community, the support and being able to form relationships with Positive, Like-minded people. My position though is that ... I burned through almost $1000 "promoting" and (mostly) buying different leads with NO results !!! I called people for hours on end. Uhggg !! And since I decided to spend my money on promotion rather than on the Beyond Freedom course ... my "Team" will not let me use their websites, templates, leads or other tools that they use to help them be successful.

So, I am looking for a way to (get around all that and) make some (seed) money fairly quickly and at the same time learn quality information on marketing effectively on a limited budget at first. If I can have something on auto pilot that makes money by simply marketing it...that is definitely the way to go. So that is why the 1 step caught my attention.

Mentors In Motion and the 1 Step system are similar in that they are both generic training programs integrated with a direct sales opportunity.

Because they are generic, you could participate in one or both in conjunction with your Liberty League promotional activities.

In a nutshell, Mentors in Motion debunks harmful industry misinformation, offers viable interpersonal marketing strategies, provides mind set conditioning and leadership development. The interpersonal marketing strategies taught by Mentors in
Motion are particularly effective when used for cold calling leads.

Being an effective mentor, teacher and leader is vital to ones success in this industry because people who join you will do so under the expectation that you are able to guide them to success. A great lesson I learned from Mentors in Motion is that people don't join companies, they join people whom they believe can and will assist them.

So being able to sell yourself on an interpersonal level is extremely important. Mentors in Motion training will strengthen your ability to do this.

The 1 Step System focuses on areas of marketing not directly covered in Mentors In Motion training. The 1 Step System focuses on the mechanics of marketing such as...

sales by offering it to your prospects who were not interested in Liberty League.

If I understand your situation correctly, you joined LLI without purchasing Beyond Freedom and therefore have to make 5 qualifying sales! That is a steep hill to climb my friend. Especially with no "team" support.

Then you have to join the 1 Step System. It is a no brainer! You will be income qualified immediately and you will learn marketing skills that will assist you in Liberty League or any business for that matter!

Mentors In Motion Saves Lost Liberty League Associate

Last year I was struggling in Liberty League. I working the system and getting nowhere fast. Well, Mentors In Motion helped me realize that it was not my fault because the odds were stacked against me from the beginning. Everything I was taught was wrong.

Here are 5 misconceptions that I was exposed to when I was in Liberty League...

1) Stepping up to Liberty or Summit by any means necessary (mortgaging a house or excessive use of credit card debt) would give me the belief and motivation to succeed!

The reality is that it would, more likely, leave one broke and discouraged with no money left for advertising. Belief and motivation is great but you need much more than that. What one really needs is solid marketing ability!


2) By working the system and the system would work for me.

3) There is no selling telling or explaining.

In actuality, there is a lot of selling telling and explaining required. You better be able to SELL yourself. You have to be able to EXPLAIN how you can assist prospects and TELL them what they need to do to succeed. This is something that the average Liberty League recruit will never be able to do!


4) Success can be duplicated.

This statement is an outright falsehood designed to make people believe that success will be easy. Real success will be achieved through the cultivation of ones own individual talent, creativity and ability!

5) Placing ads in the newspaper classifieds or buying leads is an effective way to build the business!

This is one of the fastest ways you can go broke. Sure you can generate sales this way if your pockets are as deep as the ocean but your recruits, in all likelihood won't, be able to do the same. What you need is razor sharp marketing ability and it is not available in the standard Liberty League training.

I joined Liberty League last year with high hopes of generating a six figure income from home. I got started by attending all the training calls, purchasing all of the tools and batches and batches of leads to call.

After putting no less that 100 people on the conference call I had no sales. 3 weeks after a power 3-way call to get me to step up to Summit Advisor, my sponsor left Liberty League for another company! Fortunately for me, I never went beyond the Freedom level. But what went wrong? I put forth an honest effort and received nothing in return. The problem was that I lacked the required ability just like so many other people.

So I left Liberty League and educated myself about the industry. In essence I went back to school and what I learned shocked me to my bones! Mentors In Motion really opened up my eyes and give me a brand new perspective on this industry. I used this education to go forward and achieve success with another company. Whereas before I was a struggling peddler, I am now an effective leader thanks to Mentors In Motion.

I do not wish to convey the impression that I am a disgruntled Liberty League basher. The truth is I love the concept behind Liberty League! I am a voracious consumer of self-development products and I actually used the Beyond Freedom course! I just think that the Liberty League culture does a disservice to people by encouraging large financial commitments while making it appear that success is easily duplicated when in reality it is not.

But in all fairness, Liberty League is not alone in this regard. Virtually all companies in the network marketing industry do the same thing to some degree. They are in business to market their products and services and they need people for consumption and distribution.

So in order to target large masses of people, they appeal to their greed with promises of easy wealth and the hype of "easy duplicatable systems". It's actually very clever on their part. It's just a shame that so many people end up getting hurt. I have written this letter so that you can get the help that I never had when I was in Liberty League.

Look, here is the bottom line. If you are serious about being successful in Liberty League or any company you can! But if you do not have a successful track record in direct sales you need to go to school to get a solid foundation in marketing first. Mentors In Motion is the perfect place to start!
